I saw the procedure that you performed on the young girl with flat feet. My problem is just the opposite. I suffer from extremely high arches. I have had peroneal tendonitis for nearly a year and my specialists (I’ve gotten 3 opinions) strongly suggest surgery to re-construct my foot by breaking the arch, heal and big toe and re-aligning the foot. I’m tired of the many conservative attempts (walking cast, real cast, braces, cortisone injection, orthotics, lifts and a lot of PT) that have helped temporarily but not as a permenent fix. Could you please give me some advice on this painful problem or go back on the show to address the answers to this problem?

My son has been to Podiatrists, with no satisfactory explanation or results. He has horrible “corns” on the footpad of his feet that are very large (covering the whole foot practically) and deep (to the bone) and painful. One Dr told him he had pressure sensitive feet, but could do nothing. I call them corns, but I wonder if that is what it really is? My son wants them cut out. I fear that they are too large, and he would not have any footbed left, plus they would come back. Recently, he has the beginnings of a bunion, due to walking on the outsides of the foot to relieve pain on the ball of the foot. Do you have any suggestions? Is surgery possible for the corns? He is in agony. I can send pictures if you think there is a remedy. I would also like to know if you call them corns or something else.

My son just turned 17 years old less than a month ago and has suffered from EXTREMELY flat feet all his life. He has gotten to the point where simply walking gets to be painful. After doing the mile test for school, his ankles, knees, and sometimes his hips will be extremely sore for days after. Is he able to do the Liber-Archy procedure, or is it too late?

I’m almost 20 years old and have suffered from severe flat feet in just my right foot. my left foot is completely normal, making my body structure crooked from legs up as well as making my right ankle to appear very skinny. I have a lot of pain all the time by simply just walking. i have been to doctors many times when i was younger and once again about a year ago and keep telling me to wear insoles. Those things never really worked for me and i feel like my foot is getting worse as i get older. I was wondering if there was any kind of procedure that can possibly be done?

I have been to several doctors for my toe condition with only a promise of possible symmetry with fusion and stiffness of the bones. The second toe on both my feet have the middle and distal phalanges turned towards the big toe. The phalanges in the right toe are dislocated. The nail bed on both are very a symmetrical and quite frankly ugly . Since birth I have been mocked by family and friends which now has become the least of my worries. For the past 5 years I have felt shooting pain in these toes when standing or walking 20-30 minutes or longer. Wearing any type of heel will bring on this pain sooner. Is there anything you can do to visually as well as physically correct this unsightly family trait? You are my last hope.

I have had bi lateral forefoot surgery on both my feet, there are screws which I can feel at the base of my big, second and third toes on the top of my feet. They are tender to touch, when I stand for too long the ache, if I walk I can feel each and every step. At times I feel as if my toes are being pulled apart. They swell and it has made me depressed. I have been swimming to try and get the swelling down, I have also used iced water. I have worn laced shoes to help bring the swelling down as well. What else can I do?
Hi- I am amazed at the video I just viewed. I sit here at midnight searching the web for cute summer sandals that actually cover my long toes and then came across your surgery. I have never heard or seen anything so amazing. I am a Mom of three about to turn 40 the end of this year. I have never worn a sandal. Never worn a cute pair of heels with the toes uncovered. I hate shoes. I have one toe on one foot that is longer than my big toe. I have carried the wish of wanting to wear a cute sandal most of my life.
The reality is this is one of those dreams that you know most likely will never happen. You know that your feet serve a purpose and looking pretty in shoes is not really the main one I realize….though the longing for that pretty heel never fades. So you continue to breeze through the shoe department because you are such a pro at scanning the “right covered toe shoe” you know best suits your ugly toes…..and you continue on. It was probably worse that I wandered to this site as I did. But I did. I would say to my husband what an awesome 40th bday gift this would be but in reality most of our funds have been spent on adopting our three beautiful daughters. My sweet girls don’t even notice Mommies toes!
I think it is great to have this option and if I could afford it I would do it and buy a beautiful pair of silver strappie sandals! You can give young girls and women back their confidence and how wonderful is that! Funny, I always joked to myself that I would have plastic toe surgery over plastic facial surgery any day of the week. Way out of my league but a girl can always dream!
