In order to help our Out-of-State patients have the most seamless experience possible, I have incorporated some really cool technology to keep our virtual consultations “personal”. Now you can Skype, AIM, or iChat Video Conference with me so that we can meet via video before you make your trip to Los Angeles.
This has improved the post-operative experience as well. Patients can now see their doctor rather than wait for a call back or an email. Consistent with everything we do in our practice, innovations that make your experience as easy and comfortable as possible are top priority.
If you do not have Skype you can download the application and activate an account by clicking the icon to the left or going to this site: http://www.skype.com/download/skype/macosx/
If you do not have AIM you can download the application and activate an account by clicking the icon to the left or going to this site: http://dashboard.aim.com/aim
Once you have consulted with our office administrator Shu Shu, she will co-ordinate a date and time that we can Skype Video, iChat AV, or AIM Video conference and discuss your procedure.
Of course you can always request an appointment online by visiting our online appointment portal here:

Once again, thank you for giving us the chance to provide you with the best Foot Surgery has to offer.
Dear Dr. Ali,
I saw the procedure that you performed on the young girl with flat feet. My problem is just the opposite. I suffer from extremely high arches. I have had peroneal tendonitis for nearly a year and my specialists (I’ve gotten 3 opinions) strongly suggest surgery to re-construct my foot by breaking the arch, heal and big toe and re-aligning the foot. I’m tired of the many conservative attempts (walking cast, real cast, braces, cortisone injection, orthotics, lifts and a lot of PT) that have helped temporarily but not as a permenent fix. Could you please give me some advice on this painful problem or go back on the show to address the answers to this problem?
Thank you so much,
Barbara Cleaver

Dr Sadrieh:
My son has been to Podiatrists, with no satisfactory explanation or results. He has horrible “corns” on the footpad of his feet that are very large (covering the whole foot practically) and deep (to the bone) and painful. One Dr told him he had pressure sensitive feet, but could do nothing. I call them corns, but I wonder if that is what it really is? My son wants them cut out. I fear that they are too large, and he would not have any footbed left, plus they would come back. Recently, he has the beginnings of a bunion, due to walking on the outsides of the foot to relieve pain on the ball of the foot. Do you have any suggestions? Is surgery possible for the corns? He is in agony. I can send pictures if you think there is a remedy. I would also like to know if you call them corns or something else.
PLEASE HELP ME! I HAD FOOT SURGERY 10YRS AGO. I WAS A PROFESSIONAL ACTRESS/SINGER/DANCER ON BROADWAY. I KNOW THAT DOCTORS DO NOT CRITICIZE OTHER DOCTORS, BUT I NO DOCTOR WILL TOUCH ME FEET FOLLOWING THE SURGERY HE DID. I EVEN OFFERED TO SIGN A RELEASE OF LIABILITY BECAUSE I AM SO DESPARATE. IF MY FEET KEEP GOING LIKE THIS, I WILL BE CRIPPLED COMPLETELY AND THAT IS NO EXAGERATION. I HAD BI-LATERAL(SP) BUNION SURGERY BUT MY FEET WERE WORSE THAN PRIOR TO THE SURGERY. I CAN FORGET ABOUT DANCING, NOW I AM JUST WANTING TO WALK WITHOUT BEING IN PAIN. I SAW YOU ON THE DOCTORS AND THOUGHT MAYBE THERE IS HOPE BECAUSE RIGHT NOW THE PROGNOSIS IS GRIM. THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING TO ME.
Dr. Sadrieh,
My son just turned 17 years old less than a month ago and has suffered from EXTREMELY flat feet all his life. He has gotten to the point where simply walking gets to be painful. After doing the mile test for school, his ankles, knees, and sometimes his hips will be extremely sore for days after. Is he able to do the Liber-Archy procedure, or is it too late?
Thanks,
John
Dr. Sadrieh,
I’m almost 20 years old and have suffered from severe flat feet in just my right foot. my left foot is completely normal, making my body structure crooked from legs up as well as making my right ankle to appear very skinny. I have a lot of pain all the time by simply just walking. i have been to doctors many times when i was younger and once again about a year ago and keep telling me to wear insoles. Those things never really worked for me and i feel like my foot is getting worse as i get older. I was wondering if there was any kind of procedure that can possibly be done?
Thanks,
Ben
