Out-of-State or International? We’ve made it simple…

With all the advances medicine offers today, the rate of change in accepting new procedures always seems to lag behind.  We have been fortunate in seeing patients from all over the United States, and now countries all over the world!  Creating unique procedures like my Perfect 10! Aesthetic Toe Shortening™ and The Cinderella Procedure™ provide my patients with the most advanced techniques available in Podiatric Medicine today, but the problem is I am located in Los Angeles, California.

Cities we have proudly served patients from (Click to Zoom)

That’s why we implemented our “Destination Patient Program” which strives to make your experience as easy as possible.  Once you contact the office and talk to our office administrator Shu Shu, she will begin the process for you.  This usually involves getting digital photos of your feet, and a brief history of the problem and what you are looking to correct emailed to our office.  Once this is done, we will co-ordinate xrays in radiology center close to where you live, and those images will be sent here digitally for review.  Then Shu Shu will make an appointment for a telephone consultation and I will talk in person about your problem, and what you are looking for with surgery. We can even video conference using Skype!

If you are a good candidate for surgery, and we have reviewed your options, and answered all of your questions, we can pursue scheduling the rest of the process and schedule you for your trip to Los Angeles.

We will arrange our car to pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel.  One the day of surgery, you will be picked up by our car that will take you to and from the surgery center.  Because I respect quality over everything else, we will help arrange your lodging in Los Angeles so that you can be here for the short Post Operative recovery period and you can head back home when the risk of infection is not a concern.

Shu Shu will be your concierge, walking you through the entire process, advising you of all fees, related expenses, and working with you to co-ordinate dates, and recommend hotel and post-op care appointments.  A packet containing consents, pre and post-operative instructions will be sent to you prior to your visit, so that you can review it at your convenience.

We live in Massachusetts .. would we need to come to CA to get the surgery done ?? Do you ever travel to MA ?? or is there Doctors near us that do the same proceedure ..

    Please respond ..

Hi, I am interested in the toe shortening procedure. As a dancer though, I have concerns regarding if the procedure would affect my dancing, or do your patients seem to function as normal after the procedure?

    Dr. Sadrieh,

After seeing The Dr.. Show today, I was so excited to see the new technique for correcting bunions with the wire requiring only two week recovery. I work on my feet and have bunions on both big toes, the right one is severe as the toe next to it is moving also . I can only wear a few shoes comfortably and am now developing a heel spur, I have put off the surgery because of downtime as I am a self employed hairstylist. Can you send me more information and advise of any other surgeons
possibly on the East Coast who perform this technique.

    Thank you ,

Amy Vickery and my poor feet

  13. ANGELA BUTTON says:

I was so excited to hear of Dr. Sadrieh’s “tightrope procedure”!!! Since I have horrible ugly feet with huge bunions. My feet have become painful, especially under my toes. My size 11, quite expensive (and cushioned) sneakers are not even comfortable anymore. And my favorite shoes are sandels with a toe ring–they make my toes look a little straighter (which receive less stares).
My sister had both feet operated on and it was extremly painful and difficult to keep the wieght off her foot. And as bad as my feet are, I will not go through that “broken toe” operation.
So needless to say, I am very interested in Dr. Sadrieh’s procedure. What is the estimated cost and does medical insurance cover ANY part of the procedure? With 1 daughter in college and another on the way, I, not sure if I can talk my husband into traveling to Beverly Hills. (I did try to talk my kids into becoming a podiatrist— didn’t work)..Are there any surgeons in New England that perform this exact operation? I live one hour from Boston and willing to be a volunteer and/ or guniea pig for a surgeon on the East Coast. ( I’m serious).
    Thank you,
Maybe next year I will be wearing a strappy pair of sandles!! Although, I would be thrilled to just wear a regular pair of flip flops!!
    Thanks Again!1

    Dear Ali and Shu Shu,
A friend of mine informed me of your procedure. I have severe bunions on the inside and outside of each foot. I am interested in more information, and will certainly provide you with the proper pictures of my feet. I have been told by other podiatrists that I am a candidate for surgery due to the severity, as well as my active lifestyle.

I look forward to hearing from you.

What is the long term effects of the Cinderella Surgery? Does the problem re-occur eventually?

I have Hallux valgus deformity of approximately 20 degrees with associated mild degenerative joint disease.

Suspected joint space laxity at the level of the third metatrsal phalangeal joint, the 2nd and 3rd toes are spreading.

    Also, hammertoes.

Can the Cinderella Surgery be done on this foot?

    Thanks for answering.
    Donna

Hi. I’m interested in the tightrope procedure for bunions and I live in the Washington DC/MD/VA area. Can you give me the contact of someone in the DC/MD/VA vicinity that performs this procedure? I cannot afford to travel to your office in CA for the procedure.

    Thanks, Nita…
