My sister called me (in Chicago) from CT to inform me about Dr. Sadrieh's tight rope (?Cinderella?) procedure. She called because she knows how miserable I am about my feet - not aesthetically, not "won't 'they' think I have hideous or crippled feet.

I have had two "cryptogenic" cerebellar infarcts. Until that time I was a completely healthy woman, NO risk factors and NO family history. WALKING is just about the only exercise recommended by my PT and my physiatrist (BOTH FROM THE REHABILITATION INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO). Walking has been my greatest joy and pleasure!

THE PROBLEM IS THAT I NOW HAVE BILATERAL BUNIONS, ONE "MAJOR" HAMMER TOE (i.e., MY SECOND TOE IS VIRTUALLY "MARRIED" TO MY BIG TOE) AND A SECOND HAMMER TOE IS WELL ON ITS WAY. IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND SHOES THAT FIT. I'VE TRIED SOME OF THE (RREALLLLLY UGLY) ORTHOPEDIC SHOES WITH l]LITTLE SUCCESS. Needless to say, walking any distance is now difficult and painful. The way I am able to walk at present cannot in any way be considered EXERCISE. I am able to walk around shoeless at home. I do have a few pairs of "sandals" that help but they will be of no use once winter comes.

Can you possibly email a clip of the procedure to me at XXXXXX@sbcglobal.net? Are there any doctors in the Chicago - or even n the NYC/CT - area who would be able to assess whether or not this procedure would help me? If not, I will contact Dr. Sadrieh and fly to California.

I would like to thank you in advance for any assistance you can give! Oh, how I'd love to take long walks again.

Sincerely yourss,
Leesa Gray

Hello Dr.!...
I was always embarrassed about my feet because my second toe is longer that my big toe...My feet is not ugly but this problem make them not pretty...
And to makee this worse, I met my now husband 2 years ago and he is a feet lover...and I'm always trying to hide my feet from him...I don't even know if he has ever really seen them...
I would appreciate if you contact me with more details/price of surgery. I'm located in Southern California.
Thank you for your time,
Milena

I say you post on the doctors website about the bunion surgery - did they reply back to you on it. I live in alberta and I am loving this idea as I have had bunions really bad since I was 11 - im 37 now.. and the idea of walking out of the office is great. I have 3 small kids so I keep putting off and I dont want to get it done here in canada as its always you are in a cast and have to be off your feet for 2 mos. I cant be like that...
Please let me know if you hve found out any information as to the cost etc...
Thanks for your time

Dear Doctors-I had seen the bunion procedure on the march 13 show performed by Dr.Sadrieh (the Cinderella Procedure) and was wondering if anyone in my area was experienced in doing this type of surgery and if I would be a good candidate. I live in the greater Cleveland Ohio area. Thank you in advance for the infromation. Rosa Dasco

I am interested in the tightrope surgery for my bunion. What is the recovery time and do you
have to put the foot in a cast? Is it covered by insurance and can I get it done in Daytona
Beach, Fl?
Thank you,
Vesta Dalia

Hello - I live in Vancouver, Canada (home of the recent 2010 Olympics). I saw on the Drs show recently, the tightrope procedure done by Dr Sadrieh and was very impressed.

I have suffered from bunions all of my adult life and my feet actually looked deformed, embarassing at times and I cannot wear sandels etc. However, I am in my 60's and although I do not look or act my age and in excellent health, I wondered if someone my age could benefit from this procedure?

I do not have insurance nor would it be covered by our health care system and would be paying on my own. If I am even a possible candidate, what is the estimate to have this procedure done?

Also, is it possible to get both feet done at the same time?

Appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely, Donna Kell

Hello
My name is sandra both my sister and I would like to inquire about
the tight rope bunions for my sister and the lateral bunion for myself.
your surgeries look excellent and I love the way they turned out.

Can you also give us an idea of what the procedures would cost.

Would you please send my daughter Cheryl a clip of the bunion surgery performed by Dr. Sadrieh. I saw him on the TV program The Doctors in Aug. She had this surgery done about 16 years ago, (not by Dr. Sadrieh) and has now returned. Her grandmother had the same problem. Thank you.

I've done research on the Cinderella procedure. If you would like to have it done, you'll be traveling to California. Dr.Sadrieh developed this surgery, and is the only Dr. that preforms it. If you google Cinderella surgery you'll find out more.
