Top of the line equipment from Stryker, Synthes, Tournier and Arthrex, Ohmeda, and Apple provide patients with the finest surgical technology available today.
After getting changed into your robe (in a private locker room), you are escorted to the operating suite where warm chocolate colored walls invite you to relax during your procedure. You are given the option of Bose Noise Isolating headsets and an iPod or LCD goggles connected to an Apple TV with 300+ documentaries, films and TED talks available for you to view.
To ensure the highest quality of care, our facility is Joint Commission Accredited. Most procedures are simple enough to perform with only a local anesthetic block, eliminating any concern about possible complications of anesthesia. Since our Joint Commission review however we have started the implementation of sedation anesthesia and will be offering patients who would like mild sedation the option to do so in early 2010. All the OR equipment is powered by it’s own back up power source, so in the event of power loss, the room is functional for one hour without outside power.
